Welcome to Sounds Allowed

Sounds Allowed is a small group of people who love to sing.

Based in Birmingham, we are volunteers who have set up a not-for profit singing co-operative, and organise a varied programme of day singing workshops and some longer term projects.

We invite talented singing teachers to lead our sessions, and aim to provide fun events which everyone will enjoy, however much (or little) singing experience they have.

Our workshops:

are open to anyone who wants to sing
will help develop singing confidence
include acappella songs - unaccompanied by musical instruments
have songs with glorious harmonies
are often taught by ear (you don't need to read music)

We hope our website will give you a flavour of what we do and inspire you to come along and join in.
